yeah im not worried, literally everyone sucked tonight other than pulock, who really has been incredible the past two games.

Dobson was a disaster, so was greene. Wouldve really been nice to have devon toews but you cant have everything with lou, only overpaid grinders > 35 lol. Agree with you on dobson sorokin greene bellows and ross. Dont think mayfield is as bad as you say he is.(i also think youre biased after that broken stick against philly which i still cant figure out how it cracked from that but whatever. But we have to stop taking penalties i felt like half the game was on the pk and we didnt even have leo to help kill them lol.
Wahlstrom would help score and would speed up the game more than ross who trotz needs to talk to. He needs to tell him that the point of the game is to put the puck in the net so that should be the direction the puck is going lmao. But in all seriousness we REALLY need someone to take control of the team because right now its floundering.

Yeah ik I have a lot of friends that aren’t a fan of Sorokin but I’m sure he’ll be good. Same thing w Dobson, he’ll be fine too. People forget he had a great game 2 nights ago

yeah trotz answer on dobson was pretty good in his post game interview - said hes a young player and hell have to forget about tonight , but it was a team loss. Blamed Ross Johnston for the pass that handcuffed him on the 1st goal, which was surprising. Was getting worried theyre gonna scratch dobson and sign Karl alzner to a 1 year deal lol

I was kidding but hes an ok 4-5. I feel like he did a lot better with toews. Ya it was only 2 games but he looks lost like you said. With devon he knew his role- stay at home dman while toews jumps up but his partner was defensively responsible. Now thats not the case so hes trying to become more offensive while his partner isnt as good in the d zone. I think he will be exposed if hes not playing with a guy like toews or fox.

No. Id like to see leddy dobson and have aho mayfield see what they could do starting off with sheltered minutes. I feel like aho could replicate a lot of the qualities that toews had and would lead to both their success. Its time to end the 38 year old andy greene experiment, result- it failed.
But i dont know that toews carried him as much as mayfield plays better with that skillset. Thats why i think aho and him would work great. Leddy would also play better with dobson so it would help everyone. The only thing is last time i said something like that i thought a lee beau switch before the RTP made sense for everyone and then that 2nd line went off so idk.

I think Sorokin did okay for his first game, he did give up a few bad goals but the Dmen didn't help. What impressed me is how fast he can move side to side, even a little to aggressive at times getting out of position, but how he was when the Ranger Dmen were shooting from the point he had pretty impressive reflexes. The Isles have some real potential with this guy, He needs more practice to get use to the ice, wouldn't be surprised if we Schneider for a few games so Sorokin can work on his positioning which can be worked out through coaching.

But he wont get his chance till hes making 5 mil long term and reaches 30. Oh well at least he will play at some point lol
