If Caps were to retool, this is not the return they'd move Wilson for. I'd want something more...significant.

Frankly Wilson is not the guy to move anyway.

Depends on the return. Imo Wilson to Leafs makes some sense. A power forward could do wonders for the Leafs, but at right cost.

Wilson to leafs.... suspended 2 days later. No the leafs are just fine. Certainly not giving up on Lilly. Or giving up a first that we need to have an influx of cheap players... or home town Simmonds who has been great and has a full ntc.

If you would have at least looked a bit closer you would have noticed that he waived campbell to make this fit. If the leafs had an injury to a top 6 forward (ltir) then yes this deal might make a sliver of sense.
