Isn't he looking for a bigger role? If your plan is just to put him on the 4th, I'd think he'd continue to hold out.

Considering what Rutherford just payed for kapanen, I may be getting my hopes too high. But this is not even close to enough

I would say POJ for him should be fine as Winnipeg can get another prospect

Not nearly enough.
Roslovic is pretty comparable to McCann honestly.

I’d consider Riikola + Poulin for him. Play him with Geno and slide Rust down.

They would have moved him by now if someone was offering a first

Sceviour and Roslovic’s best seasons are nearly identical, the 3rd is a payment for upside

Could maybe see a 2nd

Roslovic should fetch more than a throwaway F and a 3rd tho. (Don't argue, No one is lining up for Sceviour)

Don’t think we’re disagreeing honestly

Think Sceviour is worth around a 4th and put the combined 3rd+4th package at the value of a late 2nd, which is where I think Roslovic falls

Not quite. I feel Sceviour is a waiver level player, and a Roslovic is worth a 2nd +

I think you're underrating Sceviour and overrating Roslovic based off of his draft position

A team could've offered Roslovic an offer sheet on the higher end of the 2nd round compensation bracket and Winnipeg wouldn't have matched it, that's where his value maxes out

I've literally not spoken about Roslovic's draft position... OS don't happen for defamatory reasons.

Offersheets don't happen but they are useful gauges of approximate value, which is more the point I was making

I'm assuming you're overrating Roslovic off of his draft position as I'm not sure why else you would have such a high value on him. Think he's worth less than McCann having watched both, and don't even have that high of a value on McCann

You gave the value of a 2nd+... I don't even think McCann is worth that. Fair value on Roslovic maybe a 2nd

Seems like a lot, but I mean most likely outcome is Poulin ends up worse than or comparable to Roslovic in a few years...

Considering prospects outcomes
Just looking at it that way
