- Columbus gets a LW prospect that becomes the best LW in their system
(Beckman had 107 points in 63 games in the WHL last year and is only 19)
- Columbus recovers their 2nd round pick

- Minnesota gets a quality center they are looking for
- Minnesota already has Boldy and Kaprizov as prospect wingers ranked higher than Beckman

Dubois demands at least 1 locked future. Beckman might be on an upswing but he was a 3rd rounder.

Dumba and Boldy no pick is probably the minimum.

I'd say that's pretty fair

I'd say cbj doesn't need another dman, they're quite set back there, they need forwards who can produce and that's before they even trade pld away.

Columbus will be looking for a center not another defensman. They already have one of the best top 2 if not top 4 in the league. They are in the same boat, but right now they have a top center and Minny does not. If they trade PLD they will only reverse the probelm that Minny has and that in not what they want to do, just the opposite.

Also Minny has protection issues with Dumba, so they get the center they need and clear up the expansion draft issue and Columbus gets the problems. Makes no sense.
