- Columbus gets quality goalscorer after finishing bottom 5 in scoring last year
- Columbus gets a LW for years to come (something their system currently doesn't provide)

- Winnipeg gets a quality 2nd line center for when Stastny becomes a UFA

*Maybe a prospect, pick, or low-tier player can be thrown in for one of the sides depending on your views on Laine's defense

Columbus gets a winger without a center and Jets get a center to go with their skilled wingers. Makes no sense for Columbus

lol. This trade makes no sense for Wpg

Don't try to fix the lineup when Laine is on the trading block. You take the superstar and fix your issues elsewhere.

Also there's no way they do this deal while Laine is trending upwards and Cbj is struggling. Laine + Torts is also an issue.
