Not terrible but I'd rather them hold onto their first for 2022, even if it means not getting Kuemper.

HUGE no thx on that LA deal

Remove Abramov and I'd probably do that ARI trade

What is the goal tending solution then? Campbell is not a starter.

Carter is still a 20 goal scorer and not that it means much because its early, but he's tied for 2nd in points league wide. He's playing outstanding with Lizotte and AA.

      That's some crazy retention.

And its pretty much Maple Leaf scrubs to retain. I don't think any of those teams say yes.

And I don't think ALL (or any) of your RFAs and UFAs return with such favourable discounts.

But I give you credit for what most Leaf fans don't automatically do: re-sign Thornton and Simmonds

Don't care lol. He's like 35, has been declining for 2 seasons. Not giving up a quality prospect and a 2nd for him

He actually hasn't declined much... Everyone had a bad year last season, but before that he had 10 goals in 27 games despite being injured.

If you don't want Carter because of his age, that's fine. But don't write him off as bad or declining when you don't know what you are talking about.

Actually, he was declining before, he's been looking renewed the last season and this one, but that's fine, Kings don't need to move him he's helping pump AA's value right now.

I want to say I trust whatever happens next offseason. 2022 is expected to be a deep draft and I'd rather Toronto take someone in the opening stages of it instead of trading the pick for short term help.

Hoping Campbell gets some more starts this season. He's definitely not expected to be the main guy here but hopefully his play is good enough where he can have a good number of starts and take the pressure off of whoever is ahead of him.

Don't understand all the Campbell hate. He's played quality hockey since coming out of LA's top-tier goaltending pipeline. The only reason he's not a starter is because no one has given him a chance. He might never be in the Hall of Fame, but I do think he's starter-capable.
