There have been rumours that the pens are interested in Roslovic. Naturally, this site blew up. However, most the these Roslovic trades have been absolutely brutal for the jets. We do not want juuso riikola for example. We have a bunch of guys better than him who aren’t on the roster because we have too many 5/6 d (all left shot except for poolman). We don’t not want your meh prospects such as bjorkqvist. Our interest in pens prospects start with and ends with poulin (as a main piece), legare, and maniscalo (as secondary pieces)

Finally, we aren’t really looking for prospects for Roslovic (we will only resort to prospects if no one is willing to trade a top 4 d for him). And no, matheson is not a top 4 d.

If you are worried about Roslovic’s production, the guy put up a 35 pts pace playing in a defensive 3rd line checking role with a couple of stone hands. Anyways, how much more production can you expect from a player on a 3rd line. Finally, the guy was our second best forward during the play in round and drives possession.

Finally, Roslovic wants out because Maurice won’t play him at centre and there’s no way he can break into the top 6 in Winnipeg for an extended period of time without and injury.
