Oh look, all the things the devils don’t mind losing for a 24 year old who just lead the league in goals. How could the Bruins ever refuse?

Truth hurts. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Nico, KP, Blackwood are studs. Not a fan of Hughes game yet. Wood and Severson very solid. Rest are easily replaceable. I am impressed by Sharangovich. But when a 5th round nobody is one of your more impressive players....well....

They will be just fine. Small sample sizes don’t concern me. Especially this early. If it was the playoffs i would worry. Oh, sorry...playoffs...that thing at the end of the season for the good teams.

It’s not true though...at all. But to your point, there’s maybe 1 or 2 packages out there that could get pasta, who, due to his talent and absurdly team friendly contract, is probably the most valueable player in the league next to Mackinnon.

If you’re not impressed by Hughes this season, than you obviously didn’t watch the games this past week

I’m old. Seen more than one. You have not been relevant since Brodeur. You and the Wings have the least talented NHL rosters right now and it’s not really close. 🤷🏻‍♂️ It is what it is. Somebody has to have that title, sucks for you that it’s you guys. Made some great deals last year. 3 to 5 years they could be a good team again. But the current roster is pretty ugly.

I’m not. Too small, pushed around like he’s got an inner ear imbalance. Long ways to go. They should have had him in AHL for a year. Was not ready. Still isn’t really. But has enough talent to be useful there anyway.

Of course there is always a package. Nobody is untouchable. Nico, Blackwood, couple of 1sts is fair value but Boston is not better off for doing it.

Yeah holy **** you are. I mean he retired five years ago, so that’s not really that long ago. I know you were trying to make an insult, but you just looked foolish in the process.

On the other hand, it must suck to lose to the least talented roster in the league I guess...although you’re wrong there too. Seems to be a reoccurring theme. Chicago, LA, Anaheim, Arizona and Ottawa are all less talented

Was not an insult, just a statement of fact.

LA is right up there but at least they have one of the deepest prospect pools. Chicago has Kane, Toews, Debricant which pretty much trumps your entire team. Ottawa is loaded with good young NHL ready talent. Another year or 2 they will be tough. Arizona was a playoff team last year and might be better this year.

Its obviously a tough deal to pull off... just think BOS doesnt bite unless Hughes or Nico is involved. Just not worth it. I like Mercer, Mukhamadullin has been impressive. Obviously worse deals have been made, in terms of teams trading superstars but man, 40-50 goals 90 points in the bank every year is a big price to pay.

hughes looked very good against boston, needs to bulk up, but his growth and talent were all over the place, shouldve had a couple goals honestly

Miles Wood is a 3rd/4th liner on their current team...if he is 'very solid', just wait until everyone is ready. Nico, Bratt, Holtz, Mercer, Foote ...

The Bruins, on the other hand, are in the twilight of their window with no prospects. Enjoy it while it lasts.

No argument there.
