Yeah, The JT contract is so bad. I mean we're not paying him $11M/y to lead the league in scoring. What a bum.

Downside here is rask is a good enough to goalie to prevent a team from bottoming out to the point where they’re drafting Matthews.

He’s the second highest paid winger in the league. That’s a joke.

Anyone can just say that they’re right. This take is just laughably bad. I think you’re probably in the .1% of people that would think that.

I can say that a goldfish is bigger than a whale, and follow it up with “im right,” misspelling a two word sentence without punctuation in the process, but it wouldn’t mean that I’m actually right.

Kinda silly post. Marner had the exact same stats as Aho who signed 8.5 X 5, so no way Marner would have signed for 7m X 5
Of course Raycroft for Rask was poor trade. But certainly Rask would have been a UFA years ago and no guarantee he would have remained a Leaf.
I'll disagree that Tavares was a bad signing. (I know that is under debate) The Leafs management made the mistake of overpaying their RFAs too much for no apparent reason.

Christ, I wish the Leafs hadn’t traded Rask, mainly because then I wouldn’t have to listen to you guys shred Tavares, Marner and Nylander apart, because you probably wouldn’t have them. Add Matthews to that list too. Some of you are like a bunch of spoiled children. Enjoy the fact that you have 2 franchise centres, one of the top playmakers in the game, and another guy who, in spite of the fact that old dummies like Brian Burke shred him apart regularly, still plays hard every night.

Well, as a bruins fan I’ve been able to watch Mitch marner in the playoffs against my team quite a bit. He hasn’t exactly done great.

As long as we’re firing shots about fanbases, do i need to explain to you what the playoffs are?
