Heck newhook could easily eclipse Dubios, hes more of an offensive talent than Dubios and newhook is very very solid defensively.

They have the pieces yes, but besides being a name is PLD really what the Avs need? No. Just because you can make a trade doesn’t mean you should. Guys like Newhook, Byram, and Baron are the next wave of high end talent that will be on ELC’s as guys like Makar and Landeskog get extensions.

We are talking about a 2nd line C in this case, Dubois would look great as a 2C with Saad and Bura as line mates however Kadri fills that role just fine and if you take age out of it....Kadri is the better offensive talent.

I dont think its a move they need to make, feels like burning assets just to look better on paper line up cards.
