You are right this is the first time i saw a dubois trade to minnesota, let me say i haven't seen a dubois trade to nashville, san jose, edmonton, washington, vegas or pittsburgh. Maybe you could do one of those next??

As long as MN can talk to PLD before the trade happens so they know if he'll want to stay in MN or flee to the brighter lights so they know what they are getting.

He's only 22, so I guess there's still hope but my guess is he's a career AHL/KHL guy.

He hasn't had even remotely the same scoring touch in the AHL that he did in the CHL, he's such a longshot to even see the 1 NHL game at this point let alone being a NHL regular.

He still has a NHL shot, just nothing else to go with it. He gets mostly pressbox/bottom-6 time because of his lack of work effort. He'll be waiver fodder after this season. MN probably won't even QO him unless he had a major attitude adjustment this offseason.

MN has been asking for a top-6 center for Dumba and haven't gotten it, but MN doesn't need to move Dumba. CBJ might need to move PLD so that changes what will be taken in trade.

A package of Dumba and Rossi for PLD has to be pretty darn close to enough, doesn’t it??? If it is, how many of you would pull the trigger?

CBJ doesn't need Dumba though, that's the problem.
