I could see CBJ having interest in Monahan but they don't need guys like Bennett or Kylington. What they need is two high-end pieces: one that helps replace Dubois in the short term (Monahan fits this) and one that helps offset his loss long-term, perhaps with a pick being thrown in as well since Jarmo's super particular about who he drafts.

Which would make the asking price something like:
- one of Lindholm/Monahan
- one of Zary/Dube
- a draft pick

for Dubois straight up.

I think:
monny, Zary, and like a 3rd for PLD works for both teams

Here is a great quote form Brian Burke on any trade involving a player who publicly requests a trade

“You know what the hardest thing is as a GM in professional sports? Trading a disstressed asset. Trading a guy whose asked for a trade.

I traded Pavel Bure when he refused to play for me. I did not make a good trade. I told the owner John McCaw at that time, this is the best we’re going to do, and we’re losing too many games now because we don’t have him in the lineup. We gotta take the players we can get and move on. Getting fair value for these guys is going to be next to impossible.”

So anyone thinking that Jarmo will get full market value for PLD has one hell of a shock coming!!!
