New Jersey can really be anyone. Considering it’s only one year of paying Fleury and you get Glass out of it for a second seems pretty reasonable to me.

RNH isn’t a first line center. He’s an ok 2C but he has periods where he’s hot and periods where he’s cold. He’s been overperforming recently because he’s been on the wing. He’s undersized so he gets pushed off pucks and he can’t drive a line like he should be. I have no doubt somebody would pay him that but it would be an overpay based on what you expect from him.

Why don’t you go after PLD? You have basically limitless assets to acquire him!

Toronto has never been a hotbed for massive UFA signings. Rangers were much more known for going after the biggest UFAs.

I would love PLD, but according to everyone on this website he costs Glass, Tuch, and Krebs minimum.

I wouldn’t worry about losing tuch for PLD he’s a winger you can find another one of those. You can’t just find a 1st line center though. Krebs is a 17 overall draft pick you can get one of those every year. You have all the other pieces except a center, that doesn’t last very long before it falls apart.

Edmonton can go 7x8 though where as you can only go 8x7

Edmonton can sign him 8 years. Any other team can only sign him for 7. So it’s equal money.
