Dahlin has not been that good, not close enough to top pair good yet, this year. McCabe and Risto have been their best d men and is their best pair

It’s only a few games in wink there has been no preseason games, so it will take 5-6 games for the players to pick it up

Im definitely not worried about Dahlin, hes also been strapped to a boat anchor on his right side, but they have the luxury currently of not forcing him to play top line minutes

We should be .667 but we played one of the most unlucky games against WSH the second one. We were the far better team but couldn't finish on Vinny

If Nemeth keeps playing like he's been, there's a good chance he will get a bigger return than that for us at the deadline, if we don't extend him. He's been great so far this season.

I think Buffalo should completely redo their entire defense minus Dahlin and then Jokiharju, everyone else can go

Maybe get 1B goalie imo until UPL is ready is probably a better idea

definitely, UPL is a couple years out, theyll need to sign someone. Hutton last night did not see many shots, so its hard to say if he will be serviceable this year. He made big saves when they needed them, but the d and the system played well in front of him the entire night. I hope he does well but I hope that the Sabres dont decide to resign him if he plays well this year. I feel like their not going to want to spend a whole lot on goalies though with who they need to retain

Korpisalo, Ullmark combo could be a pretty good duo
