Best goalie that's likely to leave his team on the ufa market. Plus I think he's still a good goalie.

I’d sure like to see Yamamoto extended long term I don t think it will cost that much more and you lock down that line. Kahun can’t be paid over what he’s getting now if he’s going to play 4th line. Khaira also won’t get that he will get a wage reduction or they will move on. That Andersen contract looks bad Holland won’t pay more than 5 million for a goalie.

Andersen will be 32-33 next summer. He does not have great numbers. Yes he's a good goalie and probably the best one available next summer, but he's hardly an upgrade over Koskinen. In fact, Koski had a better save percentage last season. The only chance i'm even remotely considering Andersen is if he comes in at maximum half the price you gave him. Im think closer to a Holtby deal.

Given the situation, I think theres no doubt the Oilers will address goaltending in the trade market.

Complete shot in the dark, but I would sell the farm to get Gibson. Great contract, long term control, and entering his prime. I had a discussion back in the summer, and it was generally agreed that Gibsons prime does not line up with Anaheims window. But given that, he means too much to the team to give up.
Will be interesting who they target.

Like the Nuge deal.

If Yamo is getting $4M-ish, i'd like to see the term a lot longer. Thinking similar to a Tuch contract.

Brutal overpayment on Pearson. Not getting close to that. Given his lilttle resurgence in LA, I'd expect him to resign at like a 2 year, $3M AAV or so.
