Completely agreed. Two goal scorers off of last postseason’s highly successful 2nd line and a former first round pick is a lot to give up, even for a 1st line winger.

Why would we give up 2/3 of our 2nd line, both of whom had monster playoffs, for a guy to play out of position?

getting the best player in the deal, isles were worse than some of the non playoff teams in gf last year, 8th last i think. prospects you cant really tell but roni was more impressive than holmstrom, then you get a first
