I’d keep larsson over that swap personally think he’s been very good past few games.

Decent plan. Kahun can probably be kept at that price instead of Dzingel though.

Most important part is Klef. Man I underestimated his value. He's not flashy, but for 25 mins he doesn't hurt the play. The guys right now on the left side are hurting things...

I like this. You addressed pretty much all of their major needs. Koskinen and Halak should be a solid duo. Saad and Dzingel should address depth scoring and help out McDavid and Draisaitl. Hjalmarsson should help out the defense. My one concern would be if the defense improves enough. Broberg and Bouchard are still unproven and there doesn't seem to be good depth options to fill in if they struggle. It'll be hard to fix that though since they barely have any money.

If Jones is 7D, or even bottom pair (he plays both sides pretty equally well) the Oil are in great shape actually. It's him being expected as 2LD right now that is the depth problem. I think Bouch will be fully capable as 3RD next season, and Jones/Broberg will interchange on 3LD. We hope. Here I am talking about next year already...what a franchise.

After a couple of interviews with Saad and the Avalanche I think that they won’t part ways after this season. Saad in one interview said “Colorado is a place where I could raise a family” or something along those lines. So I think Saad will be extended with the Avalanche after this year.

I'm not super familiar with all those guys so I'll take your word for it. I think the concern would be that the Oilers defense seems to always suck so they need to be ready for when someone inevitably doesn't play up to their potential.

Definitely. I guess its just this year is way more of a risk, they put their bet on Jones to go from 6/7 D playing 14 easy minutes to top 4D playing 17-18 much tougher minutes, which is very different from hoping next year a group of Broberg, Bouch, Jones and Russell can collectively hold down the bottom pair as a collective (which is a pretty great bet). But who the heck knows if Klef can ever play the same again so...until that point, still all question marks.

Of course he said that in a interview! Haha, what else is he gonna say? He doesn’t want to look bad, just like everyone. Now I’m not saying that he won’t resign, but I wouldn’t base it off of a interview.

I would really like to bring in Saad! He would be very good with McDavid, and if Puljujarvi comes into the top 6, then Saad can slot on the left side, and slide Nuge back down with Draisaitl.
