Florida retaining is a non starter, and is ekblad that much better than Reilly, and if Florida is trading ekblad why are they wanting Reilly, would it not start a salary purge and rebuild?

Still rather have the younger in my opinion better natural right hand shot for five more years on a very friendly contract instead of converting the lefty to the right side on this kind of friendly contract but only for two years and he goes UFA at that point

He’s 2 years younger and Riellys contract will be similar to ekblads

laugh laugh First off that doesn't get Ekblad, secondly he grew up hating the Leafs and was a diehard Red Wings fan. And Zito sure isn't retaining $3 million for those pieces.

I surprised that folks think Florida has all these great Dmen the Leafs want.....Ekblad and Weeger. More RHD fascination. And now for some reason teams want Yandle too.

No team would give up that much for Ekblad.

no they arent. MAYYYYYBE Pietro but no. McAvoy is good but gets both overrated and underrated. Spurgeon is very overrated. Hamilton is good but Rielly is better

not much needs to be added in the first place if anything, 2 firsts 2 seconds is meh lol, congrats, you just made your opinion irrelevant, rielly is 2 years younger making 2.5m less at the moment, even if you take ekblad theres no way the difference between the 2 is that much, not even close to being close
