    Eichel plays out his contract in Buffalo, he definitely wont want to be on the Rangers who are in the exact same position

    Correct. If I’m Buffalo, I’m not taking something that looks like Kreider+Schneider+Owen Power for Jack Eichel.

    Hahaha, I don't think that affects anything? You're still getting/moving a franchise center. It's not like there wouldn't be 20 teams trying to get him.

    Even if the Rangers were to get the 1OA pick, That's still not nearly enough for Jack Eichel. Noway i see Kreider waiving his NMC for Buffalo. And the 1OA pick has less impact this year then last year or even next year. So Buffalo easily passes.
