Like Yamamoto, I’d like him to play in the AHL 1 year. So, I’d trade Toffoli the next year and Caufield takes the spot .

We have no one on the LW to create offensive like he does . That’s why I think we resign him

He will be in Laval at the end of this season most likely. Therefore I could see him on the Habs roster next season

If he looks ready why not . By trading Toffoli and he takes the spot, we have more money for Romanov and Suzuki extensions .

This AGM proves it's near impossible to keep Tatar and Danault. Not only the team has no capspace to resign Suzuki and Romanov (8M+), but the KK contract is way to low. He will at least earn between 3.5M and 4.5M on his next contract, if not more if it isn't a bridge one. So you are missing at least 10M with a flat cap.

Tatar is gone on the UFA market, where he is going to get at least 6M x 4 years.

With how Kk plays this year, he is not worth 3,5m$ next year in my book
