Off the top of my head, Ryan Strome had a 50 point season as a 21 year old, and Ryan Nugent Hopkins averaged 58 per 82 from ages 18 to 22.

Are those guys 1C's?

Strome had one good year as a young guy. Dubois more consistent. Nuge in the past three seasons is undoubtedly a top line players and one that could play first line center on some teams (the wild being one of them), but has become more of a winger. Also his production was worse than Dubois' anyways, and Dubois is a very good two-way player for his age. Of course you'll find examples of players who fell off of cliffs if you look hard enough but it doesn't determine anything about Dubois.

Yeah this won't total up to Dubois. It's a relatively meh offer.

If MIN truly wants the guy, Rossi is the starting point.

Well this isn't really relevant is it, considering Dubois isn't a 1C and Rossi isn't your average 9th overall pick. It was a good attempt to oversimplify the situation to fit your narrative though. Nice try.

Explain how Dubois isn't a 1C
