No reason not to. As much as I’m meh on rask, as I should be, I do like that he came far more prepared for the season and does seem to have reasonable chemistry with KK.

Personally I would like to see rask stay up with kk and rack up some points, not because ek should stay down, but so rask can build some value and get traded.

He is not a top-six forward on a contending team, but I would like to see what Nico Sturm could do in an elevated role. He has looked fast out there so far this year.

Rask isn't getting traded. If he's bad nobody will want him, and if he's good MN will keep him because their center depth is awful. I do think he's played his way out of the pressbox when Zucc gets back.

Bjugstad has been as advertised, and will end up in the pressbox. Not just to save the 7th rounder, but because he's being outplayed by everyone else.

As a side note on Bjugstad and the conditional 7th. Did the 70 games played and 35 points get prorated to the 56 game season?

I'd like to see MN try Strum like they used Haula on the Nino/Haula/Pommer line. Get him comfortable as the 3C and stick Boldy on his wing after the college hockey season ends.

Yes, the condition was prorated. Guerin confirmed it on Russo's podcast this week. It works out to about 48 games or 24 points.
