Wennberg shouldn't be anything more than a 4th liner

I’m not necessarily sure how good Wennberg actually is. And idk if he would really help the Avalanche.
I feel there is better 3Cs out there.

Wennberg basically said F this game when Wilson head hunted him just because he's a cry baby who can't handle losing.
It's not like Wennberg did anything to Wilson.
He kind of just shut it down at that point. Like he got his money, not worth getting injured over hockey.

Maybe he'd welcome coming to the West where he'd basically never have to play against Tom Wilson again.

I don't think that really solves it. It's more that attitude that sinks in. When you are young you are hungry. But one you realize it's not worth getting hurt and having lingering issues, than you just show up for a check and by.

Maybe he would have tried harder if he was playing on a cup contender instead of an over-performing team (due to elite coaching) that was bottom 10 in the league on paper. Idk, just speculating.

maybe guys would try harder if the head of player safety wasn't a goon?
