Description

This is the last game the jets have to survive without poolman and demelo and the addition of heinola hopefully helps immensely tonight. I think he will stick.

I think Niku is done in Winnipeg as a regular...In the past week he has been passed by Stanley and heinola on the depth chart. Only a matter of time before Samberg passes him too. Time to move on. Really wish we could play him but right now, we can’t have a defensive liability like that in our own end. Probably a defensively sound team can give him a decent shot.

Heinola will almost certainly stick, so barring injuries I wonder what happens when they get back to Winnipeg and DeMelo and Poolman are ready to return, I guess Stanley will come out.

Stanley and beaulieu probably out. Something like:
JoMo-poolman
Forbort-pionk
Heinola-demelo

I’m not concerned about heinola sticking tbh. In his short stint last year. Pomo gave him more minutes than everyone but pionk and JoMo. Maurice trusts the kid imo. Maurice had to probably be convinced by chevy to allow him to be sent back and burn a year. Don’t think Maurice wanted to let him go...
