Lindgren isn't our 7th D man, Probably 3rd but at most our 4th. Value of the trade is probably close with adding in a Robertson/Henrikson

Yup. I am not sold on Strome at all.

Inwas of the school of thought of trading down and drafting Byfield...... clearly an organizational need.

But adding Dubois? This team enters some contender conversations imo.

Ya, a lot of people are hesitant about him... I wrote this in another thread as most(ALL but me) don't know this.

With Bread and on 1st PP unit he put up 18G & 41A in 70GP
Without Bread and not on 1st PP he put 18G and 15A in 63GP
Now for the fun part... Strome only had 9 assists on Panarin goals and 7 of the 9 were 1st assists meaning he set Bread up for the goals... Maybe some of the credit of Bread, Zibby, Kreids, Chytil and Fast all having their best seasons should go to Strome in fact.

I wouldn't jump off a cliff over his salary and given our depth up front... if he regresses by a lot then sure.

Not at all. I have concerns over whoch Strome you get? Last season was by far his best since his rookie! Has he finally figured it out?🤷‍♂️

the season before bread, his first season with NYR is the stats I posted "without bread". I would say signs point to him finally figuring it out
