I think Tolvanen + 1st should be enough, so if NSH is also throwing in Grimaldi I'd want a mid round pick going back to NSH. But if NSH adds another guy like Rakell, then they would probably need to move a guy like Grimaldi, Jarnkrok, etc. anyway.

I still think Tolvanen can be a good 2nd line scoring winger, so it just depends if NSH management thinks that too. If so, then maybe 1st + Tolvanen is more important to this team long term as opposed to another guy that will need a new contract right at that 29/30 age that hasn't worked out too well for NSH in the past... But I'd probably be inclined to accept a trade like this, with a little negotiating.

Forsberg - Johansen - Arvidsson
Rakell - Duchene - Granlund
Haula - Sissons - Kunin

that would be a pretty slick top 9

I could actually be talked into being happy with Grimaldi and the first.

I would definitely do that deal, just because NSH has an overabundance of middle 6/bottom 6 guys -- Jarnkrok and Grimaldi seem like the one's most likely to be moved. I love both of those players though, so while I wouldn't really want to lose them, getting a player like Rakell for the top 6 would be worth it.

Throw in a conditional 3rd or 4th for if he starts producing at a 30 goal clip too maybe?

I’d definitely do that.

I have a hard time doing the 1st, Tolvanen, and Grimaldi. Grimaldi is expendable in an upgrade to Rakell but I’m hesitant to give out both Tolvanen and the 1st as I’m unsure Rakell puts Nashville over the top and I think the team is near a retool and trading away that much in futures is counter productive to a retool.
