Agreed. It's the same **** as with Guy Boucher. He has his guys who are inexplicably above all criticism, meanwhile young players have to scratch and claw for every second of ice time and get no leeway at all.

That said, we don't joke about trading Chabot. That's a big no no.

I’m not liking Smith right now. It isn’t that he’s a bad coach, but he really is looking a lot like Babcock. He has his favourites, and then he has his favourite whipping boys. GMPD sitting beside Smith saying he supports him completely makes me think this isn’t going to change any time soon.
