You can disagree, but that won’t be the best package on the table for Dubois. He’s a legit star in this league and Columbus will get a much better player in return than that.

I cant see him playing there for longer than a month given the current situation. As for the trade, I'm big into trading that package for Dubois I think it would probably be the best package that Columbus could get that would help them in the near future. So not full of picks

Don’t be. Dubois is a star. The NYR have a few things working against them in this offer. Kakko is a winger. He hasn’t proven he’s going to be a star. Strome brings little to no value to this deal. He’s a nice player, but when you’re giving up Dubois, it’s not the name you want in return.

Jarmo is likely hoping for a "1:1-centric deal" to get something comparable and move on from this clown whose more NBA than NHL.

The "3 or 4-for-1" deals are unlikely now and would be a "Sakic" haul if executed!

Jarmo Kak wishlist core of pieces is likely something as follows:
* PLD for Konecny, or
* PLD for Willy, or
* PLD for Mantha, or
* PLD for DeBrincat, or
* PLD for Zegras, or
* PLD for Cirelli, or
* PLD for Reinhart

NYR is stacked in the wing. Kakko is a valuable and expendable asset. CBJ has a center problem, true, but their current 1C has some issue with the team. Imo a deal involving these two as the main pieces just makes sense.
