I think that this is a good idea, but I think that Vancouver would decline, I think the Avalanche would have to add.

If we are going to rework our bottom 9 this could be a good way to do it.

Compher is a career 0.5ppg scorer in the postseason (17 points in 33 games) which is very comparable to Bennett.

Vancouver would be getting $1.7m in capspace in the trade, and that also has a lot of value.

I'd also take a look at adding Paquette from Ottawa. Some size and nastiness would be useful for this bottom 6 to have.

Ah sorry I just saw that he mentioned "forwards". Anyways, there's a few guys I'd have ahead of him. What I will say is that Bennett's game in the playoffs might be a bit underrated, he's a real pest to play against when he's on it.

Outside of the playoff performance, I don't know much about the guy, I am guessing that is not him 100% of time
