Marner did not outproduce Svech at the same age, Svech has a really good chance at a 90 point pace this year (he's already at 5 in his first 3). I would not be surprised if Svech gets more points than Marner this year

Well for starters Marner was "better" in terms of overall point production last year. Svech has a legitimate chance at putting up just as many more more points than him this year. As a sophomore, Svechnikov produced at a 73 point pace last year. As a sophomore Marner got 69 points. The extra year on Rielly is nice but Hamilton is better than Rielly so that makes up for it, especially since Carolina fully plans on resigning Dougie
