Torterella's post-game interview was filled with impulsive comments which could jeopardize's a successful PLD trade.

I want to hear everyone's thoughts on Torterella's comments (or lack thereof).

THIS TRADE IS NOT REASONABLE DO NOT HATE ON IT

Byron is not worth PLD! Stupid Montreal fans overvaluing their players.
(Is what I would say if I was ignorant.)

I think Torts is doing the right thing. No sense playing him if he doesn’t want to be there. Put the blame on Pierre-Luc, not the Jackets.

PLDs value isnt going to change, CBJ doesnt need to trade him for 4 years. They have no reason to sell low, they set whatever price they want

I just want to say, PLD lowered his own value with his play last night. I am 100% behind Torts for that move. He always plays the players that wins him games, not those who are doggin it out there. Torts can care less about PLD and the whole trade request. The head coach is contracted to win hockey games.

Players get benched all the time, it's simply a wake up call. It's all about what PLD does from here

He really didn't seem like he wanted to play. It looks like he's playing with an injury, it must be tough for Jackets fans to see.

Torts hasn't lowered the value of PLD in a trade.. PLD has however. That being said we all know his value and what he can do so the damage would be minimal... In a scenario where most coaches would have made him a healthy scratch he still put him on the ice and PLD made the decision to sulk as he slowly glides around on his skates. ADA was a healthy scratch for game 2 due to his play and attitude.. PLD got ice time game after game... the onus is on the player.
