Orlov is becoming expendable with the large amount of left sided, NHL ready D prospects the Caps have. His cap hit is a big reason here too, I see him as expendable.

Getting rid of Orlov is a massive mistake, especially giving him away. I want to see the young guys play just as much as anybody, but he is by far our best LHD and has been spectacular the last two years.
