They have a great drafting record but a poor July 1 record. That's over simplistic but the reality is they lack depth because they overpaid for bottom 6 players. And I like Tyler Myers as a person and I was really happy he got to stay close to his family (his child has developmental issues and requires a lot of support) but that contract was a really bad decision.

They have a good core and a good coach, so this rough patch will end

The fact that they have 20 million bound on players like Eriksson, Sutter, Baertschi, Beagle and Roussel. You could add Ferland to the list but he's never healthy.

After tomorrow perhaps their biggest issue is going to be the loss of Petterson and Hughes. Montreal is not going to be happy after the DoPS ****s failed to protect a player from a predatory hit from a dirty player with a history of dirty plays.

I am when the systems that are supposed to be in place to protect people are a joke the way the DoPS is. Something has to give and obviously the DoPS is not willing to do their jobs and PROTECT players.
