this kinda of trade gives me the vibe of either the Duchene trade or the Drouin trade (giving up too much for a player who has attitudes problems)

Even though Habs are one of alleged finalist in the Dubois "sweepstakes", I really hope the Habs don't make this trade. Besides Dubois will probbly miss around 7 games due to 2 weeks quarantine.

To me, Suzuki, KK, and Romanov are untouchables -- they're the core that led MTL to acquire this last offseason.

Danault is tricky... PLD is a solid two-way player with clearly better offense. But, Danault literately embodies the identity of this team -- great 5-on-5 and relentless on the transition. Plus, where are you getting another Selke potential player (outside of maybe Suzuki?)

I can be talked in losing future assets and prospects, starting with Caufield, but I don't want the nugget of this current lineup to change for the rest of the season.
