I’d prefer to swap out, say, Riley Nash for Mikko Koivu, but I actually like this.

Nash and Koivu are both bottom-six centers at this point, making low salaries, but I think CBJ would prefer to keep Koivu, simply because god knows they need to maturity and leadership in this locker room after dealing with PLD these past few weeks.

I’d also expect Danault to come with an extension ready.

If we want Danault we will sign him this summer. No thanks. This isn’t enough. Plus no way we give anything else beside PLD.
