CONTRACT NOTE: This contract was a multi-year RFA signing that took place after the regular season started and therefore has a unique cap hit calculation as explained in the FAQ
If he stays as a 30 pts player, it's fair. But I believe there is almost a certainty that he will boost his game and the contract will look as a huge steal

Agreed. Which is also why I think Roslovic only wanted a bridge contract so he could prove that he's worth the long term investment that is surely coming to him
I think Jones and Werenski are sure to stay. The vast majority of Columbus' prospect pool is at forward, so I expect long-term extensions to be focused on Laine, Texier, and the defense.
I think Columbus, like many smaller markets, has a reputation as a less desirable place to play. But, when Rick Nash was nearing the end of his time in NY he often alluded to his hope of returning to Columbus after he retired. Some people really like smaller markets. Gonna be interesting to see how well Jarmo retains these FA's. Seems like UFA's prefer big markets in the US and states with lower taxes.
