Won't matter, Stonehands will still be 3C and Stastny will be relegated to 4C, so happy we paid Vegas for another one of their cap dumps now!!

And you had one of the best in Laine. Unless he was clear with management that he was never going to resign this offseason, then the Jets did get an elite C for Laine. My only worry is PLD wants to play in MTL no matter what and will force another trade out of Winnipeg.

Vesey’s dad is with the Leafs, when he was a free agent, still he signed in NYC. I’m not sure that really matters but hey I guess there is hope.

Yeah should totally be happy with getting rid of the superstar goal scorer who stands up for his teammates, will be so much better with the average 2C that quit on his teammates.

If there was no repairing whatever the drama was between Laine, Maurice, and management, then the Jets got probably the best offer. Will be curious to hear what other teams were offering. But the Jets will regret trading Laine IMO
