Description

Drouin - Playing ok, keep amassing points
Suzuki - We’re all in love with Slick Nick !
Anderson - Brings energy, speed and seize. He needs to stop taking penalties tho

Tatar : needs to play better defensively
Danault : sign that 30 X 5-6 and concentrate
Gallagher : needs to play better defensively

Toffoli : had a hard start but played good against the Canucks
Kotkaniemi : we like what we see from him, only 20 yo
Perry : bad first shift, maybe two bad shift but played ok after

Byron : keep on the good forecheck
Evans : wow Evans is the surprise this year
Lehkonen : keep on the good forecheck and he’s been our best forward on the PK with Evans

Armia : bad start but had a great last game before Myers kills him

Chiarot : try to keep it simple, decent start
Weber : 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ No hands, no visions. Please for god sake HEAD UP ! Good defensively but on the PP he’s been horrible

Edmundson : 1st game he looked like Alzner, the 5 next games he played decent. He’s keeping it simple. Perfect
Petry : Ok good start but you are NOT Bobby Orr, trying to do a little bit too much

Kulak : excellent start of the season, underrated like always
Romanov : Weber takes exemple on Romy, always keeps his head up, making the good play. Good young dman here !

Price : not is best start, but the best is to come
Allen : he’s been excellent 1st game and ok 2nd game

Drouin is actually amazing this year. Using his skating and hands way more and hes really hard on the puck. People are too hard with him and it pisses me off tbh

Hard to complain when they score 5 goals every night,...

Everybody (Even Big Ed!), except...
BAD:
Price had one stellar game but gave out a lot of softies. Im a liitle bit worried. Just a little. For now...
UGLY:
What is going on with Danault? Bad on faceoffs. Doesnt set up his linemates. Just Invisible. Lowest TOI in years. Just sign that contract already!

Can he keep it going for the whole season though?

We all saw flashes of greatness from him in the last few years, but for 5.5M, that should be standard, playoffs included.

TBH I think what is wrong with Danault is that the younger guys are taking away his ice time and it is weighing on him cause he did well when he was the guy. I think he wants to stay in Montreal but he is feeling more and more like he is the odd man out.

All our young centers have progressed, great to see that. Seems like Suzuki top ceiling is to the moon

Danault might have missed his opportunity to sign at 5m...

Romanov will do some mistakes (a few last night) but Kulak is so great at even strenght, might be the best partner to support him. Underrated indeed.
