Seattle will easily make the floor. And will be paid dearly to take cap dumps/overpaid players.

I was told Gadjovich was terrible....

      Sorry but gotta nitpick

Gaudette won’t get a 2x raise on his play & value.
Demko will get a bigger bump.
Landeskog won’t leave & sign for that.

I don’t see the Hawks making that trade.
Idk anything about Mahura or why JB would want a prospect. I’d expect he’d want a middle 6 LW in return.
Maybe a 3C if he could get one.

Tierney would definitely help the Canucks, but I’m expecting him to be traded for a 2nd pair defenceman in a hockey trade, not traded for picks or prospects. The trade offer isn’t bad, it’s just a little low because Tierney is just 26, and has a nice contract for what he brings.

There were several Eriksson trades this summer that I would've pull the trigger on, that both sides thought were even. I also think that Detroit has some wasted cap space that could bring in a couple of picks or prospects. If you pay attention to Detroit or just go back through the moves Yzerman has made you'll see he hasn't really taken on any cap dumps. When he traded for Staal Detroit only had Dekeyser, Nemeth and a couple of prospect that still aren't NHL ready. So Staal really did fill a need. If it were up to I'd say change the 3rd to a 2nd and take out Karlsson or leave him in either way I don't think he is anything more than an AHL player. Ericsson is a cap dump you wouldn't have to retain on him. I still don't think it doesn't matters because Yzerman has yet to take on a cap dump.

Staal's cap hit is $5.7M and not $6

As the a move post states Staal was a capndumo for Rangers but a need for 1 year with Wings. Can not see Yzerman taking on Ericksson as he is a cap dump for Canucks but serves no use for Wings. Just not what Yzerman has preached and done so far.

Hawks don't want Gadjovich. You've correctly paired him with Quinn. Now just pay the price for a top par defensive dman on a good contract.

Mahura is an excellent prospect and would compete with Juolevi.

      Interested in Heinen/Jones/Milano for Virtanen?

Doubt it, don't see any of them as currently or at their peaks as better than virtanen.
