Future Plan Part 3

Created by: zinner21
Team: 2022-23 Edmonton Oilers
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 24, 2021
Published: Jan. 24, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Just a note, I will try to be as fair as possible will contracts and trades, mostly leaning to the side of slight overpayment just to make it as realistic as possible.

Part 3: Nurse walks, but Oilers absolutely go for it in UFA. Top line winger and top pairing D. Neal gets bought out and saves almost 4M. 1.9 cap hit for 2 years is very reasonable.

Can't wait for all the criticism ! ;)

Parayko is not leaving STL unless he gets paid 8-9mill, again Forsberg only comes to EDM if he gets paid big time.

          Don't take it personally buddy...

In all seriousness though it doesn't have to be Parayko. The point is that there will be lots of options and the Oilers should look at 2022 as their main target instead of 2021. Klingberg and Pulock could also be solid options on the right side

most likely Dallas re-signs Klingberg, but Pulock who knows.

I know it could be any team and not just Montréal, but we aren’t interested in Larsson.
