avs wouldnt be able to keep the team together long but it would be fun to watch them try.

AV's dropped from 1st to 4th twice in the past 4-5 years and the Wings complaining to the league that they should change it after dropping once shakes head

how so? Hughes isn't going to be demanding a major contract unless something drastically changes with his play

I've watched him and he's looking much better than his rookie year. But in a cap crunch he's going to get an 8 mil deal. Which is my main point with expiring contracts in two years they could have afforded him and the team would be fine
