Columbus value of PLD went down these last couple days. So yeah, Columbus definitely pulls the trigger on this. Montreal may be in for a big surprise though.

I would not have hated it but it could of bite us hard (MTL). Also , we need players on ELC. So , I’m fine with statut quo

It would have been a step back for MTL capwise. I think PLD doesn’t bring more than Suzuki except for seize

The intangible is if Laine is happy and resigns in Columbus. If not, it was a wasted deal.
I think the deal above with another decent draft pick from the Habs would have been a very good return for PLD.
I’m not sure what went on with PLD, I get the sense it was Torts and PLD just doesn’t have the stones to man up and acknowledge it. Water under the bridge now.
