    I must be the only oilers fan who sees Russell as a fantastic depth veteran to have and once his extension starts will be excellent value. Wish him and larsson got the respect on this site they actually deserve.

    They've both been bad this year, and getting rid of both of them lets us get Hamilton so....

    No one is taking on that cap for a 4th so throw out “approximately”.

    With two years left in a flat cap world and 5.75 million dollar cap hit, that is no where near what Oulers will get for Neal. Why do you believe that is what they could get to get rid of his contract?

    Yeah...Neal has one of the worst contracts in the NHL right now. He's one of those guys that would be a great bottom 6 F, 2nd PP for 1-2 million, but not at 5.75
    If the oilers wanna move him, they are gonna have to pay or get a "Lucic: type contract back
