This teams decision making confuses me.

I see repeatedly DJ saying that the mistakes are from the young guys, yet last night, besides Chabot's rough night, all the mistakes were from the vets???

Evidently appears like a chemistry issue here. New team, guys who haven't bonded on the same lines yet. But OTT keeps line shuffling so there's no way to gain chemistry.

Why is anisimov in over White? he looked terrible last night.

nick paul is really good.

chris tierney is underrated. was the best forward last night excluding maybe the first line. i have always thought of him as better than he gets credit for

Mike Reilly is not an NHL defenseman. Worst player on the ice for Ottawa last night, but he logged the 2nd most minutes.... WHAT???

Wolanin- im sure he just had a bad game, didn't look good, but Sens fans are high on him. I am interested in next game.

Get rid of Reilly. J.Brown wasn't great either. Coburn and Zub should be in instead.

Must be frustrating to watch every night. Things could be better but I think your head coach is screwing the team.

Paul has been perhaps the best depth senator this season. Really impressive start.... Tim has been.... meh. I totally get why he has Paul there. (OTT plays their forward lines relatively evenly anyways)

Agreed but I think the way to keep paul good would be to keep his line together, and for stützle to get going is to play him with other skilled players like white and dadonov

We're almost there. The top 9 is exactly how they're rolling it at practice with Paquette in Chlapik's place being the only difference in the 4th line. DJ's learning. Maybe he'll get there eventually. We can only hope.

That's the line they're running in practice. Paul has also definitely deserved the spot, and Stützle will still get his minutes playing with Tierney and Brown.

Paquette in is still a problem, as he's been the worst player on the team so far.

I have a feeling that once a could of these taxi squad guys get their shot, we'll see the struggling vets play less and less. Chlapik and Zub are two guys I see eventually pushing to be full time roster guys. Plus I can't see White staying in a rotation for much longer, especially with Anisimov playing like ass.

You nailed every single point. And he blames the young guys when it’s the veterans making the stupid mistakes

They play too much and we won’t win any games with them leading the team in ice time. They’re a defence first checking line and not an offensive possession line

They do.
Tkachuk-Norris-Batherson has been our best line but they don’t play as many minutes as they should
