This probably has a lot more to do with the fact that Vladdy is almost back. No doubt Dunn's form hasn't been great but were not giving him away for the shi* im seeing. 1st round pick and decent prospect will probably get it done. But a mixture of meh prospects won't.

I like Dunn but that is basically 2 1st round picks. He wasn't worth that at the end of last season before his slow start.

Islanders offer Sebastian Aho and our 1st (lottery protected obv.)

They won't offer that because Dunn isn't 30+ and on an awful contract, but that's what I'd offer
