I had to, this would take place after the 2020-21 season but before next season, so I used the 2021-22 season. Meaning these contracts were expired. irl they'd be traded before they expire as in before the season if that makes sense.

Are you aware the Habs got Nick Suzuki, a 2nd round pick, and Tomas Tatar for Pacioretty alone... This trade is very similar except the Habs do not receive a vet like Tatar, just a prospect and a 2nd.
