Making the deal in season would be tricky, but is doable. And yes, a Hamilton extension for 8-8.5M for 7 years is definitely doable with Stastny and Perreault freeing up 10M, offset by raises to Copp and Lowry. I would guess one of Appleton/Harkins get scooped in XD, and would be replaced by a near league minimum guy. Perfetti might be ready for 3LW duties next season.

Well yes, that too, but again, this is not a bad package at all if the asking price grows to Karlsson money. I doubt it, but there's an outside chance that it could happen. Pionk seems like the real deal and Gustafsson's a nice depth piece that's still super-young. Add the likely-to-be-late first and it's a nice return.
