Description

I honestly think we pick up someone cheap who will be a UFA at year's end, but this is something a little different.
Most people are looking at Dunn/Graves, but what about Butcher? He has yet to play a game and is already in our division. We play the Devils next week so the Pens can make the trade happen similarly to what MIN/COL did with Pateryn and Cole so both players can join their new teams ASAP.

That is different.

I kinda like Butcher. Doesn't do anything great, but does little things right on a bad team.

Butcher was actually deciding between 3 teams when he signed, with Pittsburgh being one of them. I think it would be a great addition, I wonder what it would take to get him.

best move I've seen on here so far.
A lot of this depends on time tables as far as how long people are out. We don't really know.
