Why have I seen this Dunn trade from multiple Jets fans. Blues would take that and run, then turn around, laugh, and ask if you want Blais for next years first as well.

Because apparently the ask was a 1st and prospect. That’s what blues fans were saying on here. So we just go off of that, do you know what the asking price is? I’d be curious to know what they’re looking for.

Vesalainen straight up would be good, or maybe just the first. I don't see the Blues getting a first unless it is from a Cup Contender like Boston

I like the idea of doing Vesalainen straight up, but it’s probably not enough. Maybe Vesalainen + 2nd? Do they need someone in return for expansion draft spot?

Dunn isn’t worth a first let alone Vesa added. Let’s see how Heinola, Slamberg and Stanley work out before spending any more assets on defence

Dunn looked terrible against the Kings this weekend, despite the goal and the fact that St Louis won the first one. Carl Grundstrom actually faked him off his skates to score a goal on him.

nope, as is they have too many forwards to protect, honestly they should move either Blais or Sanford at the deadline as well

What would it cost to get Blais and Dunn? Jets need to bolster their bottom 6.

The asking price is a 1st, but I would think multiple teams would be willing to do that, resulting in the price going up. Same thing happened with Kapanen

I would think the 1st and Vesalainen would be close. Maybe add in another pick next year

they wont trade good assets for a LD that is questionably good and throws a wrench into the expansion draft where they expose Demelo or ... Dunn. Plus its the deepest position in the prospect pool and would roadblock some development. bad asset management.
