That's an overpay for Pettersson. I don't think he is worth a 2nd and a 3rd alone right now (given the market comparables.... Toews getting 2 2nds for instance)

Lowry carries more value to the Jets than he would get in trade. Jets should target Dunn (a skill defensive minded guy) or a larger body who can take top 4 minutes better than Beaulieu or Forbort.

I don`t hate it but I think the Pens would rather bring in another deal. I do think MP would be a fit here but I can`t see them pulling the trigger unless the deal helped them more right now. Not interested in futures.

A young top 4D man who is cost controlled is definitely worth a first. He’s got good underlying numbers and looks good on the eye test as well. Besides pens have no interest to move him at the moment anyways.
